I (Anna) am an EMDRAA accredited Consultant & Trainer who has a wealth of experience supporting both clients and therapists in their EMDR Journey. I have an easy going and relatable manner and love to help practitioners find their own unique strengths. I am passionate about empowering therapists to expand their knowledge and confidence in using EMDR Therapy in their clinical practice.
With particular interest in culture (including intergenerational trauma), dissociation, identity, neuro‑affirming practice, intersectionality, childhood adverse experiences, and complex trauma I bring with me a wealth of knowledge, experience, understanding and passion into my consultations.
Regardless of where you are in your EMDR journey I can support you to complete the requirements for membership and accreditation with EMDRAA, and support you to utilise and integrate EMDR in your practice
INDIVIDUAL CONSULATION FOR PROFESSIONALS
Individual consultation gives you the opportunity to understand your own learning needs and areas you need assistance with. You will have the time and space to address multiple client presentations and be supported to successfully embed EMDR Therapy into your practice. The one-on-one consultation is focused on improving both your general EMDR skills and those that are directly related to your clients’ needs and presentations.
GROUP CONSULTATION FOR PROFESSIONALS
Group consultations are great way to connect and learn from your peers and Anna. These are a more cost-effective way of accruing your consultation hours. It allows you the opportunity to present a case for discussion as well as hearing a variety of other client presentations.
The consultation groups offer a unique, enriching, learning environment, and connection with EMDR therapist and like-minded, passionate peers. This group is suitable for anyone who has trained in EMDR therapy including those working towards accreditation as an EMDR Practitioner or Consultant.
Yes, individual and group supervision with Anna counts towards EMDRAA acreditation.
